Andy Orton

Andy founded DotPerformance when he was 26, but his entrepreneurial journey began much earlier. From a young age, he was exposed to the family business and later he opened his first business aged 18. He then pursued higher education in business and marketing at University.

While at University, Andy designed and built his first website. He soon realised the importance of not only driving traffic to a website, but also effectively converting that traffic into desired outcomes. This sparked his interest in understanding user behaviour as well as the factors that influence positive outcomes.

Andy was an early pioneer in the field of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), which involves making changes to web pages to improve their performance.

In 2006, he founded DotPerformance as a website specialist, using his expertise to significantly improve his clients' results while also reducing their costs.

Today, DotPerformance has expanded beyond just websites and digital marketing and is involved in much larger transformation projects, all of which benefit from Andy's years studying user behaviour. 

Behavioural science and understanding what customers want remains at the core of everything DotPerformance does and produces.

Andy never settles for mediocrity or the middle ground, he wants his clients to thrive, to always be forward-thinking and loves nothing more than offering his insight and guidance on how they can achieve their full potential.

He reviews and oversees all work before it leaves the door, and is meticulous, exacting and demanding about the standards of work we produce.

Andy is the father of twin boys, Arthur and Albert.

In his free time, he enjoys practicing yoga, flying his multitude of FPV drones (his collection is ridiculous) and making independent films.

Indeed he is currently embarking on his journey to become both a great film producer and a world-class pilot.

Raluca Matei

Raluca has a degree in Economics and before her tenure at DotP she was a well respected Shipbroker.

When she joined DotPerformance, her skills and abilities were evident, as the company quadrupled in size within a few years of her arrival.

As the Operations Director, Raluca leads and manages the daily operations of the company. She is known for her ability to identify strategic opportunities, as well as her integrity and honesty in working with both clients and colleagues.

Raluca is a mother of two and has a lively personality.

She is known for her energetic and unpredictable nature, and her infectious laugh.

Her colleagues find her to be entertaining and positive, even when she shouts seemingly random questions from her desk.

In her spare time, Raluca enjoys ice skating, painting, and feeding snacks to others.

Adrian

Possessing over 15 years in the profession, Ade specialises in wireframing, UI/UX design and front-end development.

He works with our clients from the outset. That takes in the initial project vision, conceptual design, front-end web development, through to finished design. Calm and patient, that steady temperament is replicated by his singular work.

A man of few words, Ade is not one for fuss. We had to threaten to shave his trademark curly locks off just to get him to divulge any personal details.

What’s that, Ade?  He says he likes riding his motorbikes - a classic 1959 Velocette Venom and a Honda Grom. That’ll do.

 ‘Ade’ is that rarest of talents - a digital specialist who excels in both design and development. 

By marrying the beautiful with the technical, he creates clean, simple, polished user experiences.

Dave

Dave is our genius developer, who has made significant contributions to the field of software development over the years.

It’s hard to fathom, but Dave’s analytical mind awakened at a very young age. At only 5 years old, when toddler Dave should have been using his brain power on eating rusks and watching cartoons, he had already started coding!

His analytical mind and ability to solve technical issues promptly sets him apart. Dave is a highly skilled critical thinker with a wealth of experience.

He is a cool and composed development counsel, a sage who offers up rational solutions for technical queries, remaining unflustered and logical throughout. He is often sought out as a sounding board for his wise and level-headed disposition.

In his free time, Dave enjoys practicing acro yoga and is another of the DotP gentle giants, standing at 6ft 7in tall.

Simon

Over a period of more than 20 years, Si has worked across the full spectrum of the industry.

From his beginnings in graphic design, through to front-end & back-end development, project management, business analysis, digital marketing, SEO specialism and digital strategy; Si has accrued the expertise to spearhead the DotP digital direction.

This self-styled ‘maker’, is also a self-sufficient vegetable grower and a dab hand at making rhubarb wine! Sadly for Si, rock stardom remains but a pipe dream...

I wanted to be a designer. Either that or a rock star! Apparently, there isn’t a great deal of interest in 20+ minute self-indulgent prog-rock marathon jams…

Si’s greatest gift is his inquisitive mind. It is this curiosity, this restless analytical searching for understanding, that has led to a distinguished 20+ year career within digital.

Theo

Theo is a vastly experienced, multi-talented developer. He originally started his career in project management, but eventually transitioned into programming. 

With over two decades in the field, Theo has seen it all and has an in-depth knowledge of systems development and has a strong understanding of various coding languages and frameworks. 

Theo has a forensic eye for detail, an analytical mind and marries all that with quick-thinking prowess to resolve any technical issues promptly.

When he's not working on the development of our transactional systems, Theo is able to indulge in his passion for the arts. He is a gifted writer and performer with a particular love for the stage.

Claudiu

He has over 20 years of experience in web development and is skilled in a wide range of technologies, including PHP, MySQL, JS, and CSS.

Claudiu is responsible for not only maintaining the external look and feel of our client websites, but also for the hidden mechanisms that process data behind the scenes. From quality assurance, web testing, server deployments, and maintaining various web applications, he is a multi-skilled magician, with many specialisms.

He is equally proficient in front-end and back-end development, allowing him to create fully bespoke and unique websites.

In his free time, he’s an intrepid explorer. Claudiu loves cycling, hiking and spending time immersing himself in other cultures, namely Singapore, Koh Phangan, in addition to Western Europe.

Thanks to his proficiency in both front and back-end web development, Claudiu possesses all the attributes required to attend to any developmental needs.

Rachel

Rachel has honed her craft over more than 15 years. Such experience means she understands what makes a satisfying client experience, and how to build long-term relationships.

Blending project management, CMS training, user testing, and first point customer service; her role is multi-faceted and indispensable.

She speaks the language of the complex, and simplifies, ensuring effective client service delivery.

For someone with such mastery of the language of the complex, she does have a knack for glorious one-liners…

She has the knowledge to make your customer experience run smoothly. Effervescent, eternally smiling and unerringly efficient, Rachel is the glue that holds the DotP operations together.

John

He's our resident man of logic and comedy who loves helping others almost as much as making them laugh.

Whether evaluating system functionality, maintaining stringent security measures, being at the forefront of technological innovation, or ensuring the smooth-running of all IT systems, JB covers all aspects of technical support.

He's the office comedian...a quick-witted joker, who loves nothing more than berating his best mate, and long-suffering work buddy, Juan. Their dynamic is one of squabbling siblings and makes for outstanding office entertainment.

With a wealth of knowledge allied to technical expertise forged over more than two decades, all users are in safe hands with JB.

Veronica

Vero is a skilled and dedicated web developer with over 5 years of experience in front-end development. She excels in building HTML templates using the Bootstrap framework and takes great care to ensure that all of her projects meet the highest standards.

In her role she is responsible for speed testing, security testing, and browser and device testing to ensure that websites are ready for launch. She has a strong background in HTML, CSS and is known for her hard work and attention to detail. 

In her downtime, Vero enjoys baking delicious treats and travelling the world.

Juan

Juan has moved with the evolving, fast-paced tech environment. This means he is well-equipped for the technicalities of Systems Specialist. His daily remit involves a wide range of responsibilities. From troubleshooting systems issues, implementing technical solutions, maintaining system security, and verifying optimal system performance; Juan draws upon his problem-solving skills every day.

Juan is an avid motorcycle trials rider, 8-time Parish Walk finisher, pop quiz trivia nerd, crown green bowler and devoted family man.

A self-confessed people person, Juan’s endless positivity, level-headed nature, and industrious work ethic all combine to provide exceptional customer service experiences.

Paula

She’s the old head on young shoulders, with over a decade of experience in the fulcrum of accounts, and is presently working her way through her ACCA qualifications.

From bookkeeping to reporting, credit control to client meetings, Paula is responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of accounts.

Paula has many strings to her bow. She’s a creative spark, an organisational lynchpin with a scrupulous eye for detail, and a problem-solving client liaison.

Animal-lover, soup-maker extraordinaire, traveller, mischief-maker, Paula certainly has many interests, but it is her obsession with murder documentaries that keep the rest of us on our toes…

With her fearless can-do attitude and unflappable practicality, Paula is the steadying hand on the DotP ship. She's as reliable as she is accomplished.

Will

Young Will approaches all filming and photography shoots with a sense of wide-eyed wonder. Working alongside our creative team,  he’ll help you meet your videography, film, photography and production requirements.

Will has the eye for detail along with the technical credentials to work with you to plan, shoot, produce, edit, publish and promote all your videography & photography content.

As the tallest member of the DotP team, Giant Will proves extremely useful in his role, as he deftly captures footage previously reserved for the giraffes. Cinematography is in his DNA after all. He’s our Motion Designer and an award winning film-maker.

Sure, he’s in debt to a crippling obsession with photographing tiny insects, and even has a self-confessed ‘bromance’ with a spider named Bruce, but we don’t hold that against him.

Will’s specialty lies in creating brand-building visuals, capturing the epic, cinematic footage that wows viewers, and maximises engagement. 

Jason

With over 30 years of experience in design, Jay has mastered a wide range of skills including graphic design, digital and print design, illustration, infographic creation, and line drawing.

He is a brand guru - a conjuror of creativity who can identify the unique personality of your brand, before creating spectacular, fresh and modern visuals.

His expertise allows him to elevate, enhance, and embody your business through dazzling designs.

As a visual communicator of brands, he’s in a league of his own. From conceptualisation to completion, Jason is the strategic wizard who can bring your company story to effervescent life.

He has the passion, the invention and the artistry to bring ideas to life, helping your business achieve its goals.

What did he want to be when he was young?
Entomologist aka the study of insects  (Jay can identify all species of British butterflies and their seasonal migrants. A part of him regrets making this public knowledge)
