Photography that puts the TT Marshals brand into every frame.
TT Marshals needed product photography that could showcase their full range of branded merchandise while keeping the imagery sharp, consistent, and recognisably on-brand.
The most deliberate decision was the lighting. Rather than working with neutral light, two coloured gels were used: a warm amber key from one side and a cool teal fill from the other, chosen to mirror the TT Marshals brand palette directly. The result is imagery where the lighting itself carries the brand identity, with no heavy colour grading needed in post. Against a jet black seamless backdrop, the coloured lights created natural separation between subject and background without any additional rim or background lighting.
The black backdrop was chosen to complement the all-black garments, letting the embroidery and coloured light do the visual work. Exposure was set carefully to retain detail in the dark clothing, ensuring the logo embroidery reads cleanly and crisply straight out of camera.
Shot types were planned in advance to cover every use case: tight portrait crops for headwear, three-quarter and half-body frames for jackets and hoodies, wider two-person compositions, and close-up detail shots of the embroidery. A seated pose was incorporated to add layout variety, and multiple models were used to show the fit across different people, with poses directed to keep garments well-presented and logos always clearly visible.
Because lighting, colour temperature, and background were locked in and consistent throughout, the images came out of camera largely ready to use across the website, merchandise listings, and wider brand communications.
