Every TT fortnight, thousands of marshals and motorcycle enthusiasts make the same journey. From Liverpool to the Isle of Man, aboard the Steam Packet ferry, bikes loaded and excitement building. The first in a series of three films documenting the crossing, The Steampacket Pilgrimage follows the marshals and riders as they board at Liverpool and sets sail on a voyage that marks the true beginning of TT fortnight. For many, this crossing is as much a part of the TT experience as the racing itself, a ritual, a reunion, and a pilgrimage that has been made year after year by the people who keep the world's greatest road race alive.
